Last night we visited Las fincas, the Mexican restaurant that just opened on Highway 24 across from Sanders Ford.

We were dining with coupons,  and in order to take advantage of the coupon we both ended up eating fajitas.

I had a huge sizzling platter of fajitas, shrimp, chicken, and beef, to go along with their handmade flour tortillas.  My wife, Glenda, had just chicken fajitas which was also a very big serving.

They came with the traditional beans, rice, guacamole, and sour cream.  We also got to enjoy some chips and salsa before the meal.  They were good chips.

I was very impressed with the meal.  The restaurant is very well done inside, it is certainly the nicest restaurant on the inside in Swansboro.

There is no a lot of parking out front but apparently there is more in the rear.  I have talked to at least one other person who brought a family, and everyone enjoyed their food.

My only suggestion is to have some patience at the cash register.  The very friendly lady there seemed to have trouble getting it to work correctly.  Our meal with the coupon was under $20.   Most of the entrees are $10 or under.

When we go again, we might get just one order of fajitas and some extra tortillas since my wife brought home over half of her order.

Their hours are Sunday-Thurday, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, and Friday-Saturday, 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM.  It is good to see some late hours since most area restaurants close very early during the week.

With their interior pumpkin color and holiday decorations, it is a perfect spot for a pre-Halloween dinner.  They are very busy so I would go a little early.  We got there before six but by the time we left at seven, there were no empty tables.

The official address is 921 West Corbett, Swansboro, NC.  West Corbett is the in town name for Highway 24.

Their phone number 910 325-7861
